Our Teller Manager is responsible for implementing existing policies, procedures, and systems involving cashiering operations. Order and conduct cash management duties. Coordinate and supervise all aspects of teller operations from lobby to window coverage, ensuring the daily activities of the tellers are performed in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Answers employees' questions, resolves complex problems, and oversees balancing. Good leadership skills and the ability to motivate others are necessary. Provide working leadership and guidance to tellers through assignment of work and by providing technical guidance, and the ability to hold corrective action and performance appraisal conversations with staff. Represents the credit union positively and professionally by exemplifying our core values.

 

Branch Hours

• Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 8:45 am - 12:00 pm
• Ensure all hours are scheduled with staff and staff are trained

 

Other Teller Manager Duties Include:

• Display leadership ability plus a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Work well in a distracting environment.
• Implement and maintain branch security and complaince measures, periodic reviews of cash levels, security procedures, and regular inspections of the branch facility; alarms, vault, security codes, keys, safety, and ensure equipment works.
• Responsible for Opening and Closing Procedures.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum 2-3 years of lead type experience - prefer with a financial institution
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms while interacting with members.
• Experience with Symitar Core system (Plus)
• Spanish Speaking (Plus)
