Automation Technician

Maintenance & Automation AnalystThe Maintenance & Automation Analyst supports equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role works with assembly equipment, PLC-controlled systems, robotics, AGVs, conveyors, and automated manufacturing technologies to minimize downtime and improve performance.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation equipment.Perform and improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs.Support production downtime recovery and root-cause analysis.Monitor equipment performance, downtime, MTTR, and MTBF metrics.Support PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, AGVs, and automated systems.Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend reliability improvements.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Management to resolve equipment issues.3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, automation, or controls.Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.Working knowledge of PLC-controlled systems.Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.Experience with preventive maintenance and downtime reduction.Universal Robots, AGVs/AMRs, PLC programming, conveyors, servo drives, machine vision systems, industrial networking, CMMS, and root-cause analysis tools.Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.PLCs and industrial controls.Automation and robotics.Preventive maintenance.Equipment reliability analysis.Problem-solving and root-cause analysis.Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent technical training and hands-on experience will be considered.Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
