Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via telemedicine, addressing clients' mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, and more.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Calming Motion Therapy, you will primarily serve adult clients dealing with a range of psychological issues. Our client base includes individuals struggling with depression, anxiety disorders, grief, life transitions, and therapeutic support for medication and pain management. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their emotional journeys, using therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) from an accredited institution.

  • Active, unrestricted certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist, with at least 1 year of relevant practice in the last 36 months.

  • Strong competency with teletherapy tools and video-conferencing software; previous telemedicine experience is highly beneficial.

  • Thorough understanding of therapeutic methods, treatment planning, and career counseling principles.

Compensation and Benefits\n
