Mammography Technologist – Biopsy Experience Preferred Location: Waldwick, NJ Job Type: Full-Time Work Location: In Person Expected Hours: 40 hours/week Position Overview A well-established, fast-paced outpatient medical imaging facility in Waldwick, NJ is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join its Mammography department. This is a multimodality position, with responsibilities including screening and diagnostic mammography , as well as rotation through general X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA/Bone Density services. The ideal candidate will have strong mammography and X-ray experience, excellent patient-care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a busy team environment. Key Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations. Provide coverage/rotation for general X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and DEXA/Bone Density . Work collaboratively across three mammography rooms in a busy outpatient practice. Maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and provide a professional, compassionate experience. Maintain composure and a pleasant personality in a fast-paced environment. Follow all applicable safety, regulatory, and imaging protocols. Communicate effectively with patients and staff. Required Qualifications Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program. 1–2 years of experience in both Mammography and X-ray preferred/required based on the posted requirements. Must be in good standing with ARRT – Radiography and Mammography . NJDEP license required. 3D Tomography certification required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Stereotactic/biopsy experience strongly preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented outpatient environment. Schedule Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch Saturday: Approximately 1 Saturday per month , either 8:00 AM–12:00 PM or 8:00 AM–2:00 PM No regular on-call requirement Compensation & Differentials $45.00–$52.00/hour 125% differential on Saturdays Double time on Sundays, although Sunday work is not currently available Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) 4% 401(k) match after one year Paid time off (PTO) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer-paid $75,000 life insurance Additional Information 1 opening currently available Relocation candidates will be considered if they meet the qualifications and are comfortable with the position requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr LanceSoft, Inc.
