What You'll Do

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Support manufacturing and engineering teams during assembly and testing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Assist with prototype builds and new product introductions.
• Maintain production records and technical documentation.
• Identify process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Follow cleanroom procedures and safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with tools, equipment, electronics, or mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience building or repairing computers, phones, vehicles, printers, drones, gaming systems, or similar equipment is highly valued.
• Ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Military technical experience, vocational training, internships, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience assembling, testing, repairing, or maintaining mechanical or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles.
• Semiconductor, electronics, cleanroom, or high-tech manufacturing experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilton, CT.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
