Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

A food service worker prepares, and serves food/beverages while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. Responsibilities include operating kitchen equipment, restocking, handling cash, and delivering quality customer service in settings like cafeterias, coffee shop, deli set up, etc.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Previous experience as a barista preferred

Other Qualifications

• Basic math & counting skills required
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

Certification/Licensure:

Food handling certification preferred
