Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Punch Press Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. As a Punch Press Operator, you will be an integral part of the production department, supporting the manufacturing process and ensuring high-quality output. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $23.00

Shift: Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 3:30pm - 2am

What's the Job?

• Program, set up, and operate a CNC Punch Press, preferably AMADA
• Utilize CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments to support production
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years experience in programming and setup of punch press machines
• Ability to read and interpret 2D prints, 3D models, and work instructions
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and punch assembly tooling
• Proficiency in using measurement instruments to verify components
• Strong verbal communication skills and excellent time management
