We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to manage a high-volume caseload from inception through trial. This role is ideal for a motivated litigator who is confident in handling all aspects of personal injury litigation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage caseload of plaintiff's personal injury matters from pre-litigation through trial
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Propound and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel
- Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value
- Ensure compliance with Texas procedural rules and court deadlines
- Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff
- Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the litigation process
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality legal documents
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
- 5+ years of high-volume plaintiff's personal injury litigation experience
- Proven trial experience required
- Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience drafting and arguing motions and handling depositions independently
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large caseload effectively
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Commitment to providing outstanding client service
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
