Litigation Attorney

Litigation Attorney Join PSI Pax, Inc., a 100-year-old law firm located in Manhattan, NY, in a Litigation Attorney role focused on commercial foreclosure matters, complex commercial litigation, and consumer protection law. The firm represents creditors, including financial institutions, banks, mortgage companies, automobile lenders, retailers, credit card companies, and collection agencies in disputes brought under state and federal consumer protection laws and common-law claims. Location and Salary Jersey City, NJ – $130,000 to $170,000 annually. Responsibilities Represent creditors in commercial foreclosure matters and other complex commercial litigation. Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Conduct legal research, prepare case strategies, and provide client advisory. Assist with defense of claims under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and related state laws. Requirements Minimum 3 years of solid commercial litigation experience (consumer finance and creditors' rights experience is preferred). Strong writing skills, including drafting and arguing pleadings and motions. Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills. Excellent technical, legal research, professional, and client service skills. Team-oriented with a collaborative approach. Effective problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently, proactively, and creatively to meet client and team needs. New Jersey and New York bar admission in good standing.
