Cash handling experience is preferred./liliCommunication Skills: From explaining banking products to resolving concerns, youre a pro at communication./liliTech-Savviness: Embrace digital platforms and confidently guide customers through customer-facing technology./liliTeam Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and support your colleagues./liliResponsible for greeting all bank customers, as they enter the branch, in a courteous and professional manner./liliOperate a teller window to process a variety of transactions within established guidelines, such as processing individual and commercial deposits, savings and checking transactions, cash advances, loan payments, credit card payments and other transactions./liliEnter customers transactions into the computer to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts./liliAssist customers with questions regarding their accounts; Place holds on accounts, as appropriate./liliOrder daily supply of cash and count incoming cash; Balance currency, coins, and checks in the cash drawer and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on the computer screen./liliParticipate in maintaining good customer relations by giving courteous, efficient service and developing new business by acquainting non-customers with bank services and presenting current customers with additional services; Identify and respond to these cross-sale opportunities by referring customers to the appropriate bank personnel./liliRecord customer interactions in the banks CRM platform./li/ulpSupervisory Responsibilities/ppThis job has no supervisory responsibilities./ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions./ppEducation and/or Experience/ppHigh school degree or equivalent required; Six months to one-year of related experience and/or training required in the area of cash handling or customer service./ppKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities/ppRequires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally); Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos./ppMathematical Skills/ppRequires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs./ppReasoning Ability/ppRequires ability to use good judgment in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services; Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash; Must be goal-oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment./ppComputer Skills/ppTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, with an ability to quickly learn other bank-related programs./ppPhysical Demands/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
