Medical Doctor/Physician - Pharmacist

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a licensed Pharmacist to work night shifts providing pharmaceutical services at two hospital facilities. The role involves delivering accurate medication dispensing and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and hospital protocols
• Review patient medication orders for appropriateness and potential interactions
• Maintain compliance with BLS, ACLS, IV certification requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient medication regimens
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards including NM Pharmacy licensing
• Complete onsite orientation and training modules during scheduled hours

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid NM Pharmacy license or pending license with an ETA of 10 days
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and IV Certification
• Demonstrate at least one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in hospital settings
• Be available for night shifts (4x10 or 3x10 hours) with flexibility to float within scope
• Prior travel pharmacy experience preferred but not required
• Capable of obtaining NM/Compact license prior to start date
