Bartlett Math Teacher Sapulpa Public Schools Washington Administrative Center - Sapulpa, Oklahoma Open in Google Maps Job Details Job ID: 5799644 Application Deadline: Jul 17, 2026 11:59 PM (Central Standard Time) Posted: Jun 24, 2026 5:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Job Title: Bartlett School Math Teacher Reports to: Site Administrator(s) Compensation: Teacher's Salary Schedule Overtime Status: Exempt Position Summary: Creating an exciting 21st‑century secondary math program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishing effective rapport with pupils; motivating them to develop essential skills, attitudes, and knowledge to provide a solid foundation for secondary mathematics education, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; and building good relationships with parents and other staff members. Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree required. Specialized Knowledge: Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Secondary Math at either Intermediate or Advanced level. Other: Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, demonstrate self‑discipline and initiative, and follow state and district guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities: Teaches math to pupils in a classroom using the course of study adopted by the Oklahoma State Department of Education and local Board of Education. Instructs pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter specified in state law and administrative regulations. Develops lesson plans, instructional materials, and provides individualized and small‑group instruction to adapt curriculum to each pupil’s needs. Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize instructional time. Utilizes grading patterns fairly based on identified criteria. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior to achieve a functional learning environment. Evaluates pupils’ academic and social growth, keeps records, and prepares progress reports. Communicates with parents about pupil progress and interprets the school program, interacting positively with pupils, staff, and parents. Identifies pupil needs and collaborates with staff to resolve health, attitude, and learning problems. Establishes rapport with pupils, providing a safe and orderly learning environment. Actively implements the SPS digital learning model. Maintains professional competence through in‑service education and self‑selected growth activities. Supervises pupils in off‑classroom activities during assigned working days. Additional duties may apply. Integrates technology resources into curriculum using district technology initiatives. Working Conditions: Professional classroom environment. Frequent travel between district sites or remote as needed. Some travel may be required.
