Operations Supervisor – Second Shift
\nSchedule: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–3:00 AM
\nPosition Overview
\nWe’re seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead second-shift warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation activities. You’ll coordinate people and resources, uphold safety and quality standards, and help ensure rental inventory and customer deliveries are handled accurately and on time.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n \nOversee the cleaning, picking, packing, repair, processing, and staging of rental inventory in line with company standards and procedures.
\nAssign and direct employees to meet warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation goals.
\nMonitor staffing, workflow, labor, and resources to meet customer commitments and budget targets.
\nTrain, coach, and develop team members while reinforcing expectations for safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.
\nCoordinate daily routing and oversee inbound and outbound transportation to support safe, efficient, on-time deliveries and pickups.
\nEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable DOT, OSHA, and other regulations.
\nReview driver paperwork, routing documents, and transportation records for accuracy and compliance.
\nLead daily transportation and cross-dock meetings to share priorities, updates, and operational challenges.
\nResolve operational issues in partnership with Customer Service and other departments.
\nOversee yard activity, including trailer movement, vehicle staging, equipment use, and material handling.
\nAssist with facility operations, housekeeping, and maintenance as needed.
\n \nQualifications
\n \nBilingual in English and Spanish required.
\nAt least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, or a related field.
\nExperience leading teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
\nTransportation, routing, cross-dock, or distribution experience strongly preferred.
\nAssociate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
\nHands-on leadership approach with strong team-building and employee-development skills.
