Customer Relations Specialist – Retail Customer Service Office Duties Big Sandy Superstore was recently named One of America's Fastest Growing Home Furnishings Retailers! Our customer relations specialists are an important piece of the overall success of Big Sandy Superstore. When customers are provided with an exceptional experience, they will not only return, they will refer us to their friends and family. Our customer service jobs are focused around helping customers with warranty issues, product concerns and processing their orders in a timely manner. The ultimate goal is to ensure a fully satisfied positive experience with their purchases and with our organization as a whole. Job Responsibilities Verify all information related to orders is accurate and identify and correct discrepancies. Complete all documentation accurately and efficiently and process information regarding cash balances, deliveries, sales orders, account balances in compliance with corporate guidelines. Provide customer service support by answering phones, managing counter inquiries, processing payments, and solving customer complaints/questions. Complete and process credit applications, payments and financing paperwork. Communicate with internal and external personnel in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate files and processes to maximize productivity. Perform clerical support for store staff as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and basic reading and comprehension skills. Basic numerical reasoning skills. Ability to complete paperwork accurately, neatly and efficiently. Demonstrated knowledge of software, including Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational skills. Outstanding customer service skills. Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach regularly. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience.
