Network Engineer (L2 Support)Location: Baltimore MD 21230 (Onsite)Must-Have:8+ years of experience in a Network OperationsMust have good on-ground hands-on experience of the hardware, cabling (copper, fiber), understanding of the patch panel and physical connectivity as hand and eye support would be the key role.Excellent knowledge on routers, catalyst and Nexus switches, Cisco WLC is mustGood knowledge on switching including DC environment.Knowledge in SDWAN (Aruba Silver Peak) & SDWAN MerakiBasic understanding of Zscaler.Knowledge of high availability protocols and design, on both Layer 2 and Layer 3Good understanding of Cisco Meraki WirelessGood understanding of SNMP protocolWorking experience of routing protocols (implementation and troubleshooting)Good to Have:Ability to work individually and as part of a team, potentially covering extended working hoursWorking experience in incident management processes and prioritizationNetworking certifications one or more of the following CCNP or similar level other certifications.Desire to learn new technologies and develop advanced networking skills
