Medical Assistant – Spokane, WA | $30/hr | 13-Week Contract | Day Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a 13-week contract at an outpatient Clinic in Spokane, WA .
Pay: $30/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days, 5x8-Hour (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Weekend: No
On-Call: No

Requirements

• 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
• MA-C or MA-R accepted
• BLS required
• MA-R can be endorsed by a provider at the clinic
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Physiatry experience preferred
• Experience working with adults with disabilities highly preferred
• Adult outpatient clinic experience
• Healthcare terminology knowledge
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for exams
• Obtain vital signs, height/weight, and pulse oximetry
• Record patient history, medications, and allergies
• Specimen collection and labeling
• Wound care and suture removal
• Patient positioning and draping
• Chart preparation
• Appointment scheduling
• Authorization forms
• Office duties

Clinic Information

The Physiatry Clinic provides services including:

• Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)
• EMG testing
• Botox injections for pain
• ALS Center of Excellence
• Amputee Clinic
• Wound Clinic
• MDA Care Center

Charting System: EPIC
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Floating: As needed within skillset
