Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (18:00–06:30) or 4x12 Hours (18:00–06:30) | Onsite | Weekend availability required | Some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Document patient information and care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as required and in accordance with Joint Commission standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility compliance policies, including background and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license or valid compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR (required; facility transitioned to Cerner in October 2022)
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible (non-local travelers only)
• 2 professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Flexibility with scheduling, including rotating between 3x12 and 4x12 shift patterns
• Willingness to keep time-off requests to a minimum during the assignment period
