The Creative Strategist owns the concepts behind the advertising that brings people to it. Your job is to build the pipeline: the angles, the hooks, and the concepts that fill our paid channels, and the system that keeps producing them week after week. The platforms now match ads to people on the creative itself rather than on who we target, so the work is genuinely different concepts at volume, not variations of the same one. We are pre-launch, and the brand, the positioning, and the claims we can make are all still being built. You'll start from a CAC target, a hypothesis, and a testing roadmap rather than from an account with history. It's a hands-on role. Key Responsibilities Concept & Pipeline Own the Concept Pipeline : Generate genuinely distinct concepts, hooks, and angles at the volume and variety the platforms reward. Near-identical ads get treated as one, so diversity is the job, not output alone. Write the Briefs : Customer insight, hook, format, shot list, testing variable, and the hypothesis behind each one. Enough direction that production isn't guessing. Build the System : Brief templates, concept taxonomy, naming and tagging conventions, and the intake process that keeps a weekly cadence moving. Most of this gets built before the first dollar is spent. Production & Partners Keep the Pipeline Fed : Work with internal graphics and video, agency partners, and creators to get concepts made. Sequence production so the calendar stays ahead of fatigue. Brief the Creators : Partner with Creator Partnerships on angles and creator briefs, and confirm paid usage rights are covered before the work gets made. Work Inside the Claims Line : Claim-bearing creative goes through medical, regulatory, and legal review. Build a library of approved hooks and language so the pipeline keeps moving rather than queuing. Testing & Reuse Read the Numbers : Hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA. Find the winners, diagnose the losers, kill fast, and iterate on what works. Stay Ahead of Fatigue : Concepts decay quickly. Keep the refresh cadence ahead of the decline rather than reacting to it. Make Assets Work Twice : Carry winning hooks and assets into lifecycle, email, on-site, and organic social. You supply the raw material, those owners decide what fits their channel. Qualifications We are seeking a performance-minded creative who can build a concept pipeline from nothing and is comfortable being measured on what it produces. Education : Bachelor's degree required. Experience : 4+ years in performance creative, direct response, or paid social for consumer (B2C) brands, with hands-on direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience. Titles vary in this space. What matters is that you have run the loop: research, hypothesis, brief, production, test, iterate. Platform Fluency : Deep working knowledge of how creative performs on Meta and why. This starts on Meta and expands across channels, so full-channel experience is a plus. Angles, Not Variations : Can show concepts you personally wrote, the brief behind each, and what the numbers did. Knows the difference between a new angle and a new edit. Comfortable with Ambiguity : Can build while the brand, the positioning, and the claims framework are still being settled. Starts from a CAC target and a hypothesis rather than waiting for an account with history. Claims & Regulatory Fluency : Experience in health, wellness, medical device, supplements, or a similarly regulated space. Knows how to write a strong hook that survives review. Analytical : Reads creative performance honestly and uses it to decide what gets made next. Comfortable killing their own ideas. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partners closely with media buying, creator partnerships, brand and creative, product, and lifecycle. Nice to Have : Light production ability. Low or mid-fidelity mockups, simple graphics, or rough cuts that get a concept tested faster. Comfort on camera for native short-form is a bonus. This is not the job, it is speed.
