Phlebotomist - IOP
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Wilmington, Delaware patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- 3+ months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
