Position Sr. Project/Program Manager (Min 5 Yrs. Healthcare Exp.) Must Have Medical Device Project Management Thorough knowledge of FDA regulations and requirements Excellent communication; executive level; ability to create high‑level presentations; global project experience. Scope Of Project The EPMO Project Manager provides support for medium to large‑sized projects (Tier 1 or Tier 2) that impact BD cross‑functional objectives. May manage one or more projects within a larger strategic program and lead or mentor EPMO team members. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and deliver one or more concurrent medium or large projects. Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to define project objectives. Work directly with executive and director‑level leaders to define tactical programs. Own project delivery and lead cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment. Communicate scope, goals, and deliverables. Create and maintain project documentation for validation and compliance. Establish governance processes (meeting cadence, scorecard, RAID log). Identify resources required for project success. Lead teams using BD project management methodologies. Provide timely project communications and executive status reporting. Identify and manage risks and issues, ensuring timely mitigation. Create management reports and presentations. Plan and execute change management activities. Manage internal and external customer relationships. Adhere to EPMO guidelines and contribute to practice improvements. Mentor junior managers and team members. Train and coach direct reports for performance and career development. Capabilities Project / Program Management Expertise in industry best practices and project planning. Play critical role in key projects. Avoid erroneous decisions that delay resources. Breadth of Assignment Lead execution of moderately sized projects. Strategic Impact Lead medium to large projects of moderate complexity. Manage up to three mid‑size projects simultaneously. Education / Certifications Required Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 6 years working for a large global manufacturing company. OR Formal PM training plus minimum 10 years of experience in a large global manufacturing company managing medium sized global projects. Preferred Education & Experience BS in business administration or project management with at least 6 years in a global manufacturing company in FDA‑regulated environment. PMP, PgMP, Prince II Certification or equivalent. Experience Minimum of 6 years experience working for a global corporation. Project Experience 4–6 years overall PM experience, including medium to large projects from initiation to closure. Experience implementing one or more structured PM methodologies. Experience working with a PMO. Team Experience Experience working with and presenting to project teams. 3 years working with cross‑functional teams. Experience with senior‑level and executive management. Experience with geographically dispersed and multi‑site teams. Planning / Office Tools Strong organizational, scheduling, and risk management skills using project management tools. Proficient in all MS Office tools. 1‑2 years experience with Microsoft Project, Planview, Clarity.
