777X Structural Analysis Engineer Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) 777X Program is seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Level 2) to join our dynamic Engineering Teams in Berkeley, Missouri. This is a BDS position located in Berkeley, MO, and will be 100% onsite. The 777X is a next-generation widebody passenger airplane program supporting commercial customers worldwide. As a Structural Analysis Engineer Level 2, you will contribute to structural certification deliverables for multiple aircraft variants and support key rate initiatives to meet the growing customer order backlog. Position Responsibilities: • Perform basic structural analysis using well-defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance. • Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources. • Support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance for customers and regulatory agencies. • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. • Work under general supervision. This position will be 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO. This position does not require a security clearance. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences). • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • 2+ years’ experience performing stress analysis using classical hand analysis methods • Experience in commercial aircraft stress and structural analysis. • Experience with metallic and composite structural analysis. • Familiarity with Boeing analysis tools such as Common Structures Workstation, IAS, CASTLE, CATIA V5, and ENOVIA.
