About the Role:
Join Legacy Memory Care at Kinston, LLC as a Medication Technician and play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. With a commitment to compassionate care, you will ensure that our residents receive their medications safely and effectively in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor residents for side effects and reactions to medications, reporting any concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Assist with the organization and storage of medication supplies.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding resident care needs.
• Educate residents and their families about medication management and safety.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay current with best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as a Medication Technician or similar role.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of medication administration and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a passion for caring for the elderly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
