Company Description Walrus Partners is a holding company seeking to partner with small business operators in North Texas. Its largest current investment is Cayuga LP, a landscaping company operating under the North Dallas Landscapes, KB Landscapes, and Enviroscapes brands. Role Description We are seeking a bookkeeper to manage day‑to‑day financial recordkeeping for WP and a group of affiliated entities. This is a hands‑on role responsible for maintaining accurate, separate books for multiple related companies, and producing clean, timely financials that leadership can rely on. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable with change. This position is available on either a full‑time or part‑time basis, depending on the candidate's availability and the needs of the role. The bookkeeper will be expected to work out of our office one day per week, with flexibility the remainder of the week. Required Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks, including day‑to‑day data entry, reconciliations, and reporting Prior bookkeeping experience, ideally with multiple companies. Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank and credit card reconciliations) High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Reliable and able to meet deadlines with minimal oversight Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience supporting a group of affiliated or related companies Familiarity with payroll, sales tax, or other compliance filings Salary Range Competitive Hiring Process - Applicants should respond with their relevant qualifications and experience, and a brief explanation of why the role interests them.
