Electrical TechnicianOpenwork is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong industrial electrical background and experience with PLCs, VFDs, control panel wiring, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting.If you enjoy building and troubleshooting electrical systems and want a three-day weekend schedule with long-term career potential, this could be a great opportunity.Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179Pay: $22.00–$27.00 per hourSchedule: Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:30 PMOvertime: As needed based on business needsEmployment Type: Full-Time | Direct HireWhat You'll Be Doing:Build, lay out, wire, and assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and terminal strips.Wire and integrate industrial automation components, including PLCs, VFDs, relays, transformers, and sensors.Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wire lists, and single-line diagrams.Perform point-to-point wiring and continuity checks.Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot electrical systems.Diagnose electrical faults, ground issues, and wiring problemsRun conduit, flex lines, and heavy-gauge cable to connect motors, power supplies, control panels, and industrial machinery.Verify electrical system functionality before equipment testing.Follow NFPA 70E, NEC, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), safety, and quality requirements.What You'll Need to Succeed:3+ years of electrical experience required.Strong industrial electrical experience required.Hands-on experience with PLCs and VFDs required.Control panel building and wiring experience required.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Strong electrical testing and troubleshooting skills.Experience using multimeters and other electrical diagnostic equipment.Knowledge of industrial electrical safety practices.Reliable and consistent attendance.Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.Important: This position is focused on industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment. Candidates whose experience is primarily residential or commercial electrical work without relevant industrial controls experience may not meet the requirements for this role.Your Work Environment: This is an active industrial manufacturing environment.
