About The Job: Century is seeking to hire a full-time in-office Commercial Real Estate Analyst to work with its loan production team to support originations, underwriting and loan closings. This opportunity includes exposure to all aspects of the FHA / HUD commercial real estate mortgage process. The focus of the Commercial Real Estate Analyst position is to develop a broad view and working knowledge of the products and services to best serve the clients and help drive new borrower relationships.The Commercial Real Estate Analyst will have the opportunity to work with the entire loan production team, providing support to the origination, underwriting and closing teams. Essential Job Functions: Develop a basic understanding of the full loan cycle from origination, underwriting and closing. Assist with identifying loan opportunities using programs like CoStar, Yardi Matrix, etc. Utilize proprietary models to size loan opportunities. Support the underwriting team, as needed, with completing loan application exhibits and forms. Provide assistance with loan closing preparation, including draft closing statements, etc. Prospective borrower meeting preparation for the origination team. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field or equivalent experience. Experience working in commercial real estate or banking finance, preferred. Strong desire for a career in commercial real estate or banking finance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as most Microsoft Office programs. Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
