Helicopter Aircraft MechanicLocation: Huntsville, ALPay: $36-$40/hrJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to join our team in supporting a Department of State contract focused on UH-60, SH-60, and CH-47 aircraft. The role involves performing modifications, resets, and phase maintenance to ensure optimal aircraft performance.ResponsibilitiesPerform modifications, resets, and phase maintenance on UH-60, SH-60, and CH-47 aircraft.Utilize expertise in airframe, powerplant, and helicopter maintenance.Conduct maintenance and repairs on UH-60, CH-47, AH-64, and King Air aircraft.Perform hands-on tests to ensure maintenance quality and safety standards are met.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in military helicopter maintenance.Experience with UH-60, CH-47, AH-64, and/or King Air aircraft.Phase Maintenance or RESET experience preferred.Army Mechanics with MOS-15T are ideal candidates.Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsA&P certification is preferred but not required.No tools are required as they will be provided.Why Work Here?Enjoy the benefits of an open-ended contract with the potential to transition to a direct hire position. Overtime may be required as needed.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
