Alarm Technician

Miller Protective Service, Inc.

Job Description

We are seeking a Fire and Security Alarm Technician to join our team! You will install and repair alarm wiring and equipment. Experience preferred; however, all levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

Install and program new alarm and security systems
Operate Scissor and Boom Lifts in industrial settings
Must be comfortable on a ladder
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
Monitor inventory of service parts
Maintain Company vehicle cleanliness
Professional Attitude and willingness to work

Qualifications:

Prefer Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Comfortable in high places
Ability to handle physical workload
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail
Clean driving record for the past 3-years
Able to read and follow plans, prints, or written instructions
