CNC Machinist

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with deep knowledge of horizontal machining centers, complex aerospace components, and tight-tolerance work in a regulated environment. This role plays a key part in machining critical flight hardware and supporting continuous improvement within a high-mix, low-to-medium volume production cell. salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7:30 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Deep knowledge of horizontal machining centers, complex aerospace components, and tight-tolerance work in a regulated environment 7+ years of CNC machining experience, with significant time on horizontal machining center. Extensive experience producing aerospace components Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency Strong knowledge of materials common to aerospace (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, stainless steels) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Solid understanding of aerospace quality systems and documentation Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques Clean, climate-controlled, modern machining facility Opportunity to work on high-precision, mission-critical components Skills CNC Mill Lathe Blueprints schematics set-up breakdown troubleshoot Qualifications Years of experience: 5 years Experience level: ExperiencedAdvanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency Strong knowledge of materials common to aerospace (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, stainless steels) Solid understanding of aerospace quality systems and documentation Benefits Medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits based on eligibility).
