What You ll Do

• Assess and treat adult patients with digestive system conditions such as IBS, Crohn's disease, ulcers, and liver disorders
• Perform colonoscopies, endoscopies, PEG tube placement, and esophageal dilations
• Conduct diagnostic tests including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds
• Refer patients for surgery and follow through post-operative care
• Complete administrative duties including documentation in EPIC and patient records
• Participate in patient consultations and collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care
• Support various procedures and patient assessments as needed, with flexibility to work full weeks or consecutive days

What You Need
Required:

• NY State Medical License in Hand
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the last two years
• AHA or RQI certification
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Proficiency in PEG Tube Placement, Esophageal Dilation, Upper and Lower Scope procedures

Preferred:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
