Ability to read, understand, and follow job tickets, production specifications, and safety procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills with basic computer data entry experience preferred.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of printing press, flexographic printing, or related manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of flexographic printing processes, press setup, color registration, die cutting, and quality inspection. Experience troubleshooting production equipment and maintaining accurate production records. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic press operation and maintenance preferred.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout an entire shift. Frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules and customer demands. Capable of working safely around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.Job DutiesSet up, operate, and monitor a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality printed labels that meet customer specifications. Review job tickets, prepare materials, inks, plates, dies, and equipment, and assist with efficient job changeovers. Inspect printed labels for quality, color accuracy, registration, die cutting, and overall consistency throughout production runs. Enter production data, track materials, and maintain accurate records using LabelTrax and other production systems. Troubleshoot basic press issues, communicate production concerns to supervisors, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Move completed label rolls to the finishing department, clean and maintain equipment, and keep work areas organized and safe. Follow all company safety, quality, housekeeping, and manufacturing procedures while helping meet productivity, scrap, and production goals.BenefitsCompetitive weekly pay.
