Technical Services Engineer

Technical Services Engineer – Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) SoftPro, a division of Fidelity National Financial, is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join its Elite Technical Services Team. The role will be based in Raleigh, NC, in a hybrid capacity or performed remotely. You will serve as the frontline shield for SoftPro’s most critical platforms, balancing incident response with strategic toil‑reduction initiatives. Key Responsibilities Ensure 24×7 stability for SoftPro’s largest customers by managing, supporting, and deploying complex application components. Identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them using Python, PowerShell, and AI‑driven tools. Develop T‑SQL and Splunk queries to conduct root‑cause analysis and prevent future outages. Utilize AppInsights, Azure Portal, and Splunk for modern observability and proactive monitoring. Participate in major production incident triaging and contribute to blameless post‑mortems to improve infrastructure. Manage the full lifecycle of escalations through ServiceNow with high attention to detail and precise documentation. Required Skills Driven self‑starter with deep experience on MS Windows Desktop/Server OS, SQL Server, and Citrix environments. Proficiency in scripting with Python or PowerShell. Analytical thinking and experience building, implementing, and monitoring server operations. Resilience and ability to stay clear‑headed in high‑pressure, mission‑critical situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical issues to developers and non‑technical stakeholders. Desired Skills Familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLOs, Error Budgets, and Observability. Experience or interest in using AI/Machine‑Learning for operational noise filtering. Hands‑on experience with Splunk, Azure Portal, or ServiceNow. Experience working in regulated environments and following strict change‑management protocols.
