Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 PM - 00:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS PALS BLS TNCC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Trauma Stroke STEMI Sepsis Moderate Sedation Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This facility has a 198-bed capacity and is classified as a Level III trauma center. It provides comprehensive healthcare services, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation specialties. The hospital also offers services such as a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. The Emergency Department features a total of 48 beds with flex space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main area and 6:1 in the fast-track area. Utilizes team nursing and a pod system for efficient patient care. A social worker is assigned to the department, and there is a unit educator available. Equipment available includes Zoll Defibrillators, Level One Blood Transfusers, and various point-of-care devices. The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner. The patient population includes adults and those with chronic conditions such as ESRD, COPD, and psychiatric disorders.
