Team Leader G2O

Team Leader – Gateway to Opportunity (G2O) Team Leader will work directly with a team of up to 4 traditionally underserved high school‑aged youth to lead a project‑based learning team for 6 weeks each summer. The role includes daily facilitation and project oversight at a local host site, support for project development and career readiness activities, oversight of program and reflection activities, one‑on‑one support, and facilitation of group workshops and field trips. Schedule & Location 25 hours per week, hourly position Four days a week Multiple host sites, statewide in Maine (location based on host site assignment) Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High school diploma or equivalency Experience working with youth or leadership development programs (strongly preferred) Knowledge of or connection to the local community (preferred) Group work and facilitation experience (preferred) Understanding of teamwork, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Demonstrated leadership and strong work ethic Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries, including online and on social media Basic software and internet research abilities Competent written and verbal communication skills Must successfully pass criminal background check, child protective services check, and sex offender check Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings but is not a primary responsibility Other Information Position is funded by The Opportunity Alliance.
