Role Description

This part or full time Optometrist role is an on-site position based in Lancaster, PA. The Optometrist would conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage vision issues and ocular diseases, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments as needed. Additional responsibilities include patient education, maintaining medical records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support overall eye health and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing refractive errors
• Ability to diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
• Strong patient education skills to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care
• Knowledge of maintaining detailed and accurate medical records
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with a diverse team and foster positive patient interactions
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Valid optometry license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
