Field Service Engineer II - IC & HPLC

Field Service Engineer II position supporting installation, maintenance, and repair of analytical instruments including ion chromatography and HPLC systems. Serve customers in research, industrial, and healthcare settings while providing technical troubleshooting and customer support across assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex analytical and scientific instruments
- Respond to customer service requests with short notice and train customers on equipment operation
- Document service activities and prepare detailed technical reports
- Travel within assigned territory to support customers across research, industrial, and healthcare settings
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols, GMP standards, and quality requirements
Requirements
- Advanced degree with no prior experience, or bachelor's degree plus 2 years hands-on technical experience
- Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with ability to interpret schematics
- Ion chromatography and HPLC experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-75% within assigned territory
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory environments
Compensation: $28.85–$51.92 hourly
