Estimator / Process Engineer

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Estimator / Process Engineer role in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities Develop accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, and production timelines. Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine project scope and feasibility. Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs. Collaborate with production, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables. Identify opportunities for process improvements using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Monitor production performance and recommend adjustments to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Support new product introductions by developing process flows, work instructions, and cost models. Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and project updates for internal stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) preferred. 3+ years of experience in estimating, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using estimating or ERP software. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. What We Offer Competitive salary range of $80,000 – $125,000 annually, depending on experience.
