About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Operator Support to lead a team dedicated to enabling the success of Independent Operators and Aspiring Operators in Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the long-term vision and strategy for operator support, with a focus on operational enhancements, programmatic improvements, and the development of best-in-class training programs. This role requires a strategic leader who can identify and execute operational improvement programs, develop standard operating procedures, and partner with the AOT training team to ensure future operators are prepared for operational excellence and business ownership. The VP will also oversee field communications, lead a high-performing team, and cultivate trusted relationships with operators, field leaders, and senior stakeholders. Applicants for the Vice President, Operator Support position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred) and at least 10 years' of experience in store operations, strategy, or related support functions within a retail, grocery, or franchise setting. The role demands a candidate with a passion for working with independent operators, strong project management and analytical skills, and a proven track record in developing strategic programs. The ideal candidate will be innovative, have knowledge of adult learning and training concepts, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in performance assessment, coaching, and managing remote teams is also required, with a preference for those who have experience with Salesforce. The VP will be expected to lead change, ensure compliance with company standards, and drive continuous improvement in operator support programs.
