Assistant Operations Manager

About the Role Serve asa contacttothe school districts we serve. Interview, hire, and train new transportationcoordinators/supervisors. Prepare monthly work schedules. Maintainappropriate staffinglevels for drivers and monitors. Ensure all employees have proper certifications, training, and licensing. Oversee the maintenance function at your office and keep our vans in a high state of readiness. Review and prepare billing each month. Assistwith any other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Operations Manager or Vice President. About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience to positivelyimpactthe lives of children in your community by providing mobility without limits. About You Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations management, business administration, or related field. 5+ years of progressive work experience in a work environment that isfast-paced. management of hourly staff, and responsible for managing metrics. Proficient experience in the use of Microsoft Office Maintaina good drivingrecord and enjoy working in an environment that is 100% committed to supporting our students Self-motivated, show initiative and have a strong work ethic. Must be comfortable with early-morning hours. Exhibit strong leadership skills and can successfully supervise and direct teams. Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills. Must be detail-oriented and like solving problems. Maintaina very highstandard of accuracy and confidentiality. Must show ‘grace under pressure during extremely busy times.
