TRAVEL – RN – PICU (645) – Wesley Medical Center – 7P – 7A Unit Information: PICU / Pediatric ICU / (645) Location: Wesley Childrens Hospital, 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 General Information: Level II Trauma Number of Beds: 15 Number of Staff: 38 Day Shift Staff: Intensivist, RN, Desk Tech, RT, Dietary, Case Management Night Shift Staff: Intensivist, RN, RT Patient Ratios: 2:1 Equipment: General CR Monitoring EMR: Meditech / CPN Typical Hiring Profile Must Have Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience BLS & PALS Preferred or Nice to Have CRRT Experience APHON Pediatric Teaching Hospital Experience Typical Procedures Performed IV starts and blood draws TPT placements Best Personality Fit Works well under pressure and in a teaching hospital Patient care experience is a priority Unit Guidelines Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
