Occupational Therapist (OT)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with a variety of conditions to help them achieve maximum independence in their daily activities. Paid time off and holiday pay after 90 Days Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, abilities, and goals. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals. Utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients improve their daily living skills, work skills, and leisure activities. Provide direct therapeutic interventions, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and the use of assistive devices. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments. Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance daily functioning and promote independence. Maintain documentation of client evaluations, treatment plans, and progress according to regulatory and organizational standards. Stay current with developments in the field of occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities. Compensation and Schedule Pay: Hourly (Negotiable) Full-Time Shifts Day Shift Location: Cleveland, Ohio Skills and Qualifications Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred. Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in Nursing, such as geriatrics, rehabilitation, etc. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with clients and their families.
