Our organization is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to become part of our team at MHPT @ Rosedale Neuro! They should demonstrate a variety of evaluation and treatment methods, exhibit excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, and effectively communicate with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
The Physical Therapist will deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients, which includes screening and evaluation, developing treatment plans, implementing treatments, reassessing and modifying treatment as necessary, re-evaluating patients, planning for discharge, and maintaining documentation across various settings. Additionally, the Physical Therapist will contribute to program planning and protocol development as needed, assisting the team in achieving set objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducts evaluations, which include reviewing relevant historical data, performing specific assessments, and making recommendations while documenting results. Communicates evaluation outcomes and treatment plans to patients and their families, involving them in the goal-setting process.
Exhibits expertise in executing treatment protocols based on evaluation results, patient presentations, and the changing healthcare landscape. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals as necessary. Identifies and records changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the care plan or additional medical/rehabilitation consultations.
Completes necessary discharge planning and follow-up care. Ensures accurate and timely documentation and billing for patient care activities, reflecting the patient's treatment journey, including initial evaluations, daily notes, interim progress reports, and discharge assessments.
Demonstrates effective time management skills and meets productivity targets. Maintains an accurate schedule. Shows a professional commitment to ensuring seamless patient access to care through flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and empathetic behaviors in a patient-centered environment.
Takes initiative in pursuing ongoing education for personal and organizational growth. Acts as a clinical instructor for students and assists in the orientation and mentoring of less experienced staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
Qualifications:
Possession of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensure in Maryland, the District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia as required for your specific location(s).
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
This position offers a salary range of USD $74,214.00 - USD $134,596.00 per year.
