The Department of Radiology at our medical school is in search of an exceptional academic pediatric neuroradiologist to take on the role of Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology . This position offers a remarkable chance to lead and enhance a highly regarded pediatric neuroradiology service at one of the top children's hospitals in the nation.

• The Director will be responsible for providing strategic, clinical, educational, and research leadership for the Pediatric Neuroradiology section within the Pediatric Radiology division.
• Leadership duties will encompass overseeing all clinical operations of the pediatric neuroradiology section, mentoring faculty and trainees, promoting quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and operational efficiency, as well as developing strategic plans to enhance national recognition.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and developmental pediatrics, will be essential.
• The Director is expected to optimize advanced imaging modalities such as functional MRI, diffusion imaging, fetal MRI, quantitative neuroimaging, and artificial intelligence applications in neuroimaging.
• Academically, the Director should maintain a robust record of scholarly contributions and publications, work alongside basic scientists at the Pediatric Imaging Research Center (PIRC) and the Department of Radiology, and collaborate with clinical partners at the medical school to enhance the fellowship training program.
• While grant funding experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
• The successful candidate will significantly contribute to advancing clinical excellence, fostering innovation in neuroimaging, and supporting the academic objectives of the department and institution.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or an equivalent medical degree
• Board certification in Radiology and completion of fellowship training or subspecialty certification (or eligibility) in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology, with a focus on pediatric imaging
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (or eligibility for such appointment)
• Demonstrated leadership experience along with a proven record of clinical excellence, scholarship, and teaching
