Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to arrhythmias per protocol
- Conduct stroke assessments (NIHSS) and monitor for neurological changes
- Manage peripheral IVs, basic line care, and non-invasive airway support as needed
- Administer and monitor medications related to telemetry/stroke/cardiac care; assess hemodynamics
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and communicate with patients and families; document in EPIC
- Apply isolation precautions and PPE, ensure patient safety, and participate in care coordination

Requirements
- Missouri RN license or MO license/compact eligibility; Illinois license in hand required at time of submittal
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; telemetry/PCU experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
- Ability to work in a telemetry-heavy Progressive Care Unit and float within the telemetry/service line
- Vaccinations: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Fit testing may require removal of facial hair to pass
- Local radius rule: No local candidates within 75 miles
- Orientation provided (~38 hours); unit operates EPIC charting; navy scrub color; free parking
