Building Maintenance Technician

Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent Facility Maintenance firm in the High Point, NC area, is seeking experienced Building Maintenance Technicians to join their team!



Building Maintenance Job Summary:

• Pay: $18-20 an hour DOE
• Shifts Available:
  • 1st Shift: 6am to 2:30 pm Sun.-Thurs.
  • 2 nd Shift: 2:30p-11p Wed.-Sun.
  • 3 rd shift: 10:30p-6a Tues.-Sat.

• Conduct regular building tours, inspections, identifying needs and executing corrective action and/or coordinating with management and outside contractors.
• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
• Fixing plumbing, HVAC, and general facility maintenance issues.
• Fix holes in drywalls
• Hang plaques etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous Building/Facility Maintenance required
• Must have valid Drivers License-Required
• Must have dry wall/sheet rock repair, replace, install experience.
• Must have basic electrical experience (replacing ballest on lights, replacing light switches etc.)
• Must be able to work independently and as a team member
• Must be able to complete minor HVAC issues
• Must be able to complete minor plumbing issues, replacing faucets, replace flush valves, de-clogging of toilets etc.
• Experience with replacing and/or repairing hot water heaters

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Working knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS).

• Must be able to lift up-to 40 lbs. repeatedly
