Night Shift Needed Base pay range: NANA/hr depending on experience level NA night shift differential Reimbursable expenses: None. No mileage, housing, per diem, or relocation coverage. Shifts & Work Hours: Night shift: 6 PM6 AM 11 days on / 3 days off, every other Fri/Sat/Sun What You Will Do: Perform moderately complex cable builds and repairs for Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) cable Perform high voltage testing of ESP cable Perform splicing to ESP cable Perform repairs to ESP cable Perform spooling of ESP cable Able to complete required testing documentation Minimum Qualifications: Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical equipment Basic computer skills with programs like Client Word and Excel Ability to read and write English Accuracy and attention to detail Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers Ability to work under general supervision and follow safety processes Effectively present information and respond to questions Intermediate verbal and written communication skills Action-oriented for delivering results Customer-first mindset Successful planning, priority setting, informing, results, and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred / Strongly Valued: Basic electrical background due to safety critical nature of the work Forklift experience Mechanical aptitude (automotive, diesel, shop or mechanical background could translate well) Strong safety mindset; role is safety sensitive with strict standards Experience: 1 year of experience installing, repairing, Electrical Submersible Pump cable preferred (not required) Candidates with general mechanical or electrical aptitude, or similar cable experience, can be trained Physical Demands and Job Conditions: High hand dexterity for splicing and cable manipulation. Repetitive, hands-on cable and machine work. Standing for extended periods. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to use a computer. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection), using measurement devices, and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles. The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures. Indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Activities occur indoors and outdoors. Extreme heat. Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. Hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals. Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. Oils. There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
