Experienced or Senior Structural Analysis Engineer North Charleston, SC Responsibilities Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design. Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment. Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics, and performance. Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Define and document certification and test results to substantiate that requirements are satisfied for customers and regulatory agencies. Support in‑service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Work under general direction. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences). 5+ years of experience in the structural or aerospace industry. 3+ years of experience performing structural analysis on metallic structures. 2+ years of experience performing structural analysis on composite material systems. 2+ years of experience working on primary aircraft structures. 2+ years of experience collaborating and performing oversight on projects with international partners/suppliers. 1+ year of experience supporting test development and execution. Ability to apply classical hand analysis methods. Ability to perform FEA and understand/validate results. Prior experience with aircraft, heavy structures, hardware systems, or interiors manufacturing/production systems. Preferred Qualifications 5 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience performing primary responsibilities in a lead capacity, working under minimal direction. 2+ years of experience developing certification‑related documentation. 2+ years of experience developing or leading test execution. 1+ year of experience developing analytical processes or tools. Shift This role is for 1st shift.
