Forklift & Reach Truck Operators

Tidewater Staffing is seeking dependable Warehouse Forklift and Reach Truck Operators for multiple openings in Suffolk, VA and Chesapeake, VA. Candidates should have experience operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment and be comfortable supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, staging, and material movement throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems as required.
• Accurately track and move inventory within designated warehouse locations.
• Inspect equipment before and after use and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Work independently and as part of a warehouse team to meet production and shipping goals.

Required Qualifications

• Previous forklift or reach truck operating experience required.
• Ability to safely move, stack, and organize materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and move throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications
• Stand-Up Forklift experience.
• TSP Forklift experience.
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience.
