School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Ottawa, Kansas

Make an impact by providing speech-language services to young learners during a rewarding contract assignment. This opportunity, based near Ottawa, KS, seeks a dedicated and credentialed professional to deliver onsite support to 1st and 2nd grade students. Start as soon as possible and continue through the end of the school year, working three days per week in an engaging elementary school environment.


Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC certification
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Kansas as an SLP
• Experience working with elementary school children preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite, providing direct therapy and collaborating with educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to 1st and 2nd graders
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Document services, maintain accurate records, and adhere to all compliance requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as needed
