Responsibilities

You will be joining an amazing Medical ICU nursing team that is always ready to take care of any patient. In our 24 bed ICU, you will be working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to complex patients with a multitude of diagnoses including sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, ARDS, heart failure, MI, cardiac abnormalities, and stroke.

You should have the desire to be a patient and family advocate, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have the desire to work closely with other disciplines.

Qualifications

Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required

Licenses and Certifications• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

CHS HealthStream Courses• ALS-OB - Advanced Life Support OB Program required within 6 months of hire or transfer into position for the following departments: 01-74000 Labor & Delivery, 01-74003 Antepartum, 01-74004 OB Triage. Clovis: 02-74000 Labor & Delivery, 02-74001 Antepartum Testing, 02-74004 OB Triage.
