Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Rhode Island state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Ability to provide skilled SLP services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication, and language disorders in an adult population preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel SLP experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and standardized SLP documentation preferred.
• Additional certifications (for example, LSVT, VitalStim) preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 - 16:30.
• Shift pattern: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
• VMS guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week (client may offer 30 or 35 GH).
• Candidate may be expected to float to other facilities as needed.
